  • PowerPoint in the Classroom (ACT Labs)
    Basic tutorials on PowerPoint 98. Usually acknowledged as the best introductory tutorial available.

    Select "PowerPoint" from the Product menu to search for tutorials
  • Microsoft’s tutorial on Advanced Animation Techniques
    Demonstrates some of the tips and tricks used by professional animators to get the most out of the animation capabilities in PowerPoint 2000. You have to download the show in order to view it. Mac users can use the techniques, but this particular download is available only as an executable (.exe) file, and therefore cannot be opened on a Macintosh.
  • A series of PowerPoint tutorials by Sonia Coleman
    Many of these tutorials are aimed at those who are creating a PowerPoint presentation for inclusion on a CD-ROM. Tutorials arranged in three levels from beginner to advanced.

    This page is from Ellen Finkelstein who wrote a book on PowerPoint 2000. While she may know PowerPoint really well, she could use a few pointers on constructing webpages. Also includes information about adding Flash animations to your presentation.
  • Ten Tips to Improve Your Presentations with PowerPoint by Dennis Kennedy
    Written as part of a Legal Technology Primer, the advice given here is general rather than specific, but very useful as a check on PowerPoint excesses.

    More than 200 templates downloadable as .exe files. For Macintosh users, borrow a PC, download the exe file, run on the PC and then save the templates as PowerPoint template files (an option in the Save As dialog box).
