Documentation
Connecting to the Central Web Server via the Web Folder (PDF)
Also a good source of instructions is the documentation built into Word itself. To access it, use the Help menu to select Microsoft Word Help. When the Help dialog box opens, type "web pages" as your question (the space is important). This will provide information on such tasks as creating a new web page, creating a page from an existing document, working with the web site wizard and more.

Tutorials
There are numerous tutorials on the web that provide information about creating web pages with Microsoft Word. Here are a few:

This site also provides instructions for uploading Word created web pages into York’s centrally supported course management system WebCT.
Transferring Web Pages to Your Central Web Account
If you are unable or unwilling to use Web Folders, you will need to use a file transfer (FTP) application, such as WS-FTP for Windows or Fetch for Macs, to move your files to and from the web server for editing.
