Objective:
The Moodle assignment tool allows students to submit their assignments through Moodle and allows you (and your TA?s) to view and grade them online. This Webinar is intended to introduce instructors to using the Assignment activity in a Moodle course. We will demonstrate how to create, grade and return feedback for assignments to allow students to submit their work through Moodle. This Webinar will focus on the technical considerations as well as the best practices. There will also be a discussion about creative uses of the Assignment tool.

Creating quizzes not only allows gives your students the flexibility of taking a Quiz online, but using the built in tools allows you to grade parts of the Quiz automatically, provide detailed feedback to students and randomize question sets for students. This Webinar is intended to introduce instructors to using the quizzing tool in Moodle to assess student performance. We will demonstrate how to create a quiz and choose options that would address academic honesty, ensure students can complete quizzes successfully, and optimize student experience.
